The question that often comes up is, "What does the number 12 represent in my artwork, Twelve?" Is it the number of apostles following Jesus? Is it the twelve tribes of Israel? Is it the number of eggs in a carton? The months in a year—does it represent time? Is it alluding to the twelve names of the Monkey god, or the twelve sons of Odin? Twelve Angry Men? The twelve books of Paradise Lost by Milton? Ask your guests when they look at your new signed and numbered print of Twelve. Be sure to serve up some drinks and let your imaginations fly free.
Twelve is an in-camera multiple-exposure photograph, digitally developed in post-production to bring forth all the beauty of the raw file negative. This unique image is from my favorite Halftone Lockdown Series. It is easily identifiable by my signature technique of color and algorithmic exposures that I fully developed during the 2020 pandemic quarantine.
